As a former professional at the forefront of the Japanese surf scene, Yoshi Umeda pursued his dream of living on the North Shore of Oahu in 1988. He established Power Drive Surfboards during his time at Blue Hawaii Surf, where he gained a reputation as a highly skilled surfboard shaper by locals and surfers around the world.
